Refund policy

Returns

We have a 14-day return policy for EU customers. You have 14 days after receiving the last item in your order to request a return. This window is extended over weekends and public holidays. For customers outside the EU, our standard 30-day return policy applies.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, log into your customer account and submit a return request directly from your order, or contact us at Info@tailsandtrails.ie. Once your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label at no cost to you.

Please note that original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable. Any approved return or exchange will be refunded minus the original shipping charge.

Cancellations

EU customers have the right to cancel their order at any time before it has been fulfilled. To cancel an order, log into your customer account using the same email address you used when placing your order, and submit a cancellation request from your order page. Alternatively, contact us at Info@tailsandtrails.ie as soon as possible.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 14 calendar days of us receiving the returned item. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If you haven't received your refund after 14 days, please contact us at Info@tailsandtrails.ie.
